Our Policies

We care about your privacy and our common future. Here you can read how we handle cookies, protect your personal data under the GDPR and work towards a sustainable business.

GDPR

Every year, we at Sweden Rock hire our own photo and film team to shoot and film the festival. Some of these pictures and films are then used on Sweden Rock's Facebook page, Instagram, website and in newsletters.

If you do not want to be included in pictures/videos in our channels, this is of course perfectly okay. Then, to make it easier for us, you can pick up a NO-PHOTO BADGE in one of our information booths. If you hang the badge around your neck, both the photographers and we know that you do not want to be seen in pictures or in movies in our channels.

If for some reason you have not had a NO-PHOTO BADGE on you during the festival, and then unwantedly appear in a picture in one of our channels, you can contact us afterwards via email, you will find the address below. Specify which image it is - and we will of course remove that image.

Cookies

When you visit our websites or apps, we and third parties may collect information using cookies and similar tools.

To see a list of the companies that use cookies and how they are used, please see our Cookie Consent Tool. It is always available in the bottom corner of our websites. When you visit our websites, set up an account or when you buy tickets, you consent to us and third parties using cookies in accordance with your cookie settings. You can use our Cookie Consent Tool to change your preferences at any time. For more information on how your personal data is used, please see our privacy policy.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file - containing small amounts of information - that is downloaded to your computer by your browser so that the website can remember who you are.

The length of time the cookie stays on your computer depends on whether it is a permanent cookie or a session cookie. Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain on your computer until you leave the website. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you stop browsing until they expire or are deleted.

A pixel tag or a web beacon is an invisible image with code that is placed in an email or on a website. Cookies can be categorized into first-party cookies or third-party cookies. First-party cookies are cookies that Ticketmaster/Live Nation places on your device, while third-party cookies are cookies that another party controls but are placed on your device when you visit our website. For example, we use Google Analytics cookies to collect information about the user experience on our website.

What are cookies used for?

Cookies can be divided into the following categories: strictly necessary cookies, performance cookies, functionality cookies and marketing cookies. The following table provides more information on each category.

Absolutely necessary cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function. They enable you to move around the site and use its features. Necessary functions, such as access to protected pages, cannot be provided without these cookies.

For example, to keep you logged in during your visit. Without these cookies, the website could forget your details and you would have to keep logging in again. When you buy tickets, cookies ensure that they remain in your shopping cart when you reach the checkout.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information about how our website is used, such as which pages are the most visited and how users move from one page to another. Information collected on our open website is combined with information about other people's use of the site on an aggregate basis. If you have logged into the customer portal, we may link information from cookies to your account. In general, these cookies provide us with analytical information about how our website is performing and how we can improve it.

Functionality cookies

These cookies allow us to remember your choices and tailor our website to provide better services and content to you. For example, these cookies can be used to remember your name (but not your password), and they can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, font or other parts of the page that you can customize.

Marketing cookies

These cookies are used to deliver marketing messages tailored to you, based on what you have browsed, purchased or shown interest in. We use these cookies in conjunction with third-party organizations that offer various tools, which allow us to group you with other users to target these messages and advertisements. For example, when you visit our website or app, add tickets to your shopping cart, or make a purchase, you may in the future see advertisements or messages for the same or similar events. This could be an ad on Facebook, Google search results or an email from us to remind you about the tickets left in your cart. All third parties we work with follow industry standards for online behavioral advertising (OBA) to ensure that you are not personally identified and that you have the option to opt out in the future.

How you can manage cookies from this website

In addition to our Cookie Consent Tool, most browsers give you the option to manage your cookie preferences, such as allowing the browser to inform you when you receive a new cookie or using it to disable cookies altogether. If you choose to disable or delete them, some pages will not work as well, as cookies are needed to provide the service you have requested (see strictly necessary cookies, above).
If you do not want to allow us and third-party organizations to use cookies in our emails, such as pixel tags, the best way to address this is to not allow images in emails that you open. In other words, only show the text part of the message. Some browsers and email sites have settings or extensions available to disable or block cookies, such as Gmail.

Changing your browser settings

You can change the settings in your browser to limit which cookies can be collected. These settings can usually be found under the 'options' or 'settings' tab of your browser.
More information can be found here, or in the 'help' menu of your browser:
