Sweden’s most famous star in the guitar-hero sky. Yngwie Malmsteen entered the international scene in the early 80s through Steeler and Alcatrazz, to make his solo debut with ”Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force” in 1984. His fast, neoclassical style in the veins of Ritchie Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth made him a guitar hero overnight. There have been 21 more studio albums since then, including classics like ”Marching out” (1985) and ”Odyssey” (1988), and another one is on the way. To guitar enthusiasts, Yngwie is a true legend and his first Sweden Rock appearance since 2005 is highly anticipated, to say the least.
