Sweden's most famous star in the guitar hero firmament. Yngwie Malmsteen entered the international scene in the early 1980s via Steeler and Alcatrazz, making his debut as a solo artist with "Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force" in 1984. His fast, neoclassical playing in the spirit of Ritchie Blackmore and Uli Jon Roth made him a guitar hero overnight. Since then, he has released 21 more studio albums, including classics such as "Marching Out" (1985) and "Odyssey" (1988), and another is on the way. For guitar fans, Yngwie is a true legend, and his first visit to Sweden Rock since 2005 is eagerly awaited, to say the least.
