They're back! Just in time for their 20th anniversary in 2026, these spearheads of the Swedish poodle rock renaissance are reuniting. It was in 2006 that The Poodles broke through with the hit single "Night of Passion" and their debut album "Metal Will Stand Tall" – and also played at Sweden Rock. Twelve years and six more studio albums later, the band announced their breakup, as they simply felt they had nothing left to do. But now The Poodles are finally back, for the first time as a quintet, with both original guitarist Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and his replacement Henrik Bergqvist, side by side with singer Jakob Samuel, drummer Christian "Kicken" Lundqvist (Biff Byford), and bassist Pontus Egberg (King Diamond).
