Sweden’s pride and joy from the ”third wave” of progressive rock were formed in 1994 by Roine Stolt, guitarist/singer of Kaipa fame, and have to date released seventeen studio albums. The early of whom have become classics, like ”Stardust we are” (1997) and ”Flower power” (1999), but they all, most recently ”Love” in 2025, are bona fide faves among fans of vintage symphonic rock Yes- and Genesis-style. And the Flower Kings live are, appropriately, a certified happening of musicality and epic atmosphere.
