Overkill

This New York band is not only one of thrash metal's most tireless – their 21st studio album since 1985 is on the way. They also impress with their latest releases, "The Wings of War" (2019) and "Scorched" (2023), which are of the same caliber as classics such as "Taking Over" (1987) and "The Years of Decay" (1989). In addition to their powerful, well-crafted songs, the powerful singer Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and his crew always put on a sweaty show, and the fact that they haven't played at Sweden Rock in 15 years makes the reunion all the more welcome.
