A whole generation of Swedes has been shaped by the hit ballad ”I want to know what love is”, released by Foreigner in 1984. But the New York band, formed in 1976 by guitarist Mick Jones, is far from a one-hit wonder. ”Juke box hero”, ”Urgent”, ”Cold as ice” and ”Hot blooded” are just some of the many classic hits from one of the biggest AOR bands ever. This is shaping up to be a 50th anniversary celebration without equal, so don’t miss them – especially since new singer Luis Maldonado is an amazing find.
