One of the ultimate cult bands of metal. Switzerland’s Coroner released five albums between 1987 and 1993, with progressive features and technically advanced musicianship making them unlike anything else in thrash metal. The band’s reputation has only grown since then, and in 2025 ”Dissonance theory” landed as one of the strongest comeback albums in metal history. Highly anticipated doesn’t begin to describe it: Coroner’s Sweden Rock debut may be worthy of the name sensation.
