The Blue Benders may be the currently hottest name on the Swedish blues scene. They formed in 2021, their EP ”Strike one” (2023) shook all of blues Europe to its core, and pending their debut album ”Do not apologize” (to be released this February) they have whetted our appetites with four classy singles. But the Blue Benders are primarily a live band – that’s where their funk- and soul-tinted blues is at its rawest and sweatiest.
