Vreid

One of the most prominent Norwegian post-millennial black metal bands was formed in 2004, from the remains of the legendary Windir. Vreid’s signum was combining classic black metal with hints of 70s rock and 80’s metal – or ”black’n’roll”. We got nine strong albums until 2021, including the classic concept album ”Milorg” (2009) about the Norwegian Resistance during WWII. Since we’ve only seen two singles after that, many rejoice that Vreid are once more re-activated for real and will, yes indeed, also appear at SRF 2026.
