Twisted Sister

We all thought that one of Swedish metalheads’ all-time favorite bands ended for good in 2016. But one should never say never! Twisted Sister, fronted by the inimitable Dee Snider, have decided to once more re-enter the live scene coinciding with their 50th anniversary in 2026. This glam metal New York quintet, known for their colorful and rebellious image, released five albums in the 80s, the third of which in particular, ”Stay hungry” (1984), became a million-seller and classic, introducing such immortal songs as ”We’re not gonna take it”, ”I wanna rock” and ”Burn in hell”: They were also always recognized as a stellar live act, and their long, mutual love story with Swedish audiences paves the way for a highly emotional reunion at SRF.
