The Poodles

They’re back! Just in time for their 20th anniversary in 2006 these spearheads of Sweden’s hair metal renaissance have reunited. In 2006, The Poodles had breakout success with the hit single ”Night of passion”, debut album ”Metal will stand tall” – as well as a SRF apperance. 12 years and six more studio albums later, the band folded, declaring there was just nothing left for them to do. But now The Poodles are finally here again, for the first time as a quintet, with both original guitarist Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and successor Henrik Bergqvist alongside singer Jakob Samuel, drummer Christian ”Kicken” Lundqvist (Biff Byford) and bassist Pontus Egberg (King Diamond).
