Saxon

One of the greatest SRF faves of them all! The New Wave of British Heavy Metal legends Saxon led by Biff Byford have had a special place in Swedish hearts since almost immediately after their 1979 debut. Today, they not only have eternally classic albums like ”Wheels of steel” (1980) and ”Denim and leather” (1981) to fall back on. They also enjoy continued success with albums like the most recent, highly praised ”Hell, fire and damnation” (2024). The band now including Diamond Head luminary Brian Tatler on guitar hardly makes their return any less dear to their faithful Sweden Rock audience.
