Sabaton

From cult band to cultural phenomenon. A sky-high work ethic, an unfailing ability to write powerful songs and, not least, an interesting historical concept have made Sabaton from Falun one of Sweden's greatest metal bands of all time. The album debut with "Primo victoria" in 2005, the Swedish mega hit "Carolus rex" in 2012, and the international success with the latest, tenth album "The war to end all wars" (2022) are just a few milestones in the band's career. The ability to combine catchy melodies with informative depictions of war history makes Sabaton unique, and has resulted in countless modern song classics. "Primo victoria", "Ghost division", "Cliffs of Gallipoli", "40:1", "Carolus rex", "Bismarck", "No bullets fly", "Christmas truce", the Motörhead cover "1916" ... at times it feels like every song Joakim Brodén & Co deliver becomes a fan favorite. SRF 2025 will be the only European show of the summer for the band, with a completely unique production.
