Evergrey
SEDark, progressive, and melodic. Led by singer and guitarist Tom S. Englund, Gothenburg-based Evergrey has carved out its own niche in hard rock with fourteen studio albums since 1998. Although all of these albums have been appreciated by fans, two distinct golden ages can still be discerned in Evergrey's career. The early 2000s, and the period from the modern classic "Hymns for the Broken" (2014) to their latest masterpiece "Theories of Emptiness" (2024). The fact that Evergrey's fan base is of the more devoted kind contributes to making their concerts as emotionally charged as the music itself.
