Blood Incantation from Denver, USA, has a sound that is not only brutal but also extremely technical with progressive influences—listen to Jeff Barrett's fretless bass, for example! And, very often, electronic spices on top of that. None of the band's four albums are alike, but "Morbid Angel meets Pink Floyd" describes the whole picture fairly well. Their latest album, Absolute Elsewhere (2024), even made it onto the Swedish charts! A must for more hardened SRF visitors.
