Sweden Rock Kollo

Five days of camp with a focus on hard rock. This is the camp for all hard rock-loving girls aged 14-17. Together with Studiefrämjandet Musik, this is our way of creating more opportunities for young girls to take their place on the hard rock scenes of the future. In 2026, the camp will be organized for the seventh year in a row.

Apply for 2026

Sweden Rock Camp is held at the historic Hällevik campsite, located near the sea in the municipality of Sölvesborg. This year's camp will take place from May 31 to June 4.

For five days, camp participants get to live, learn, and breathe hard rock together with others who share the same passion. The camp has several fully equipped rehearsal rooms where you can play together, write songs, and develop as a band. The camp offers time for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the wonderful camp life. The camp is led by young women who play in bands themselves and know exactly what it's like to make a name for yourself in the rock world. To round things off, there will of course be a study visit behind the scenes at the Sweden Rock Festival!

To apply for Sweden Rock Kollo, you need to have basic knowledge of an instrument. Participation and accommodation are free, but participants must pay for their own travel to and from the camp.

Applications are open from January 19 to February 20.

The scenes of the future

Hard rock is one of the most male-dominated genres in the music industry. Sweden Rock Festival is working to give more girls a natural place on the festival stage for new bands. That's why we started Sweden Rock Kollo in 2018 together with Studiefrämjandet Musik. Our initiative to bring about a change, to encourage young girls to play hard rock and take their place on the future hard rock scenes around the world.
