How about some Swedish medieval metal? Fredlös ("outlaw") are new to the folk metal scene, releasing their debut "Fredlös" in 2023. Combining folk sounds and ominous doom, the album made quite an impression, and expectations for the coming followup are through the roof. But it's hard to fail with people like the epic singer Liv Hope and guitarist Alex Hellid (Entombed), and Fredlös live is an otherworldly experience - as if, for a moment, medieval times have actually come to you.
