Hardline were initially recognized as a branch on the Journey family tree, but have won enduring fame on their own merits. Their debut album "Double eclipse" (1992) is a certified AOR classic and Johnny Gioeli (also of Axel Rudi Pell fame) one of the most celebrated singers of his generation. Six more studio albums later, Gioeli is still taking Hardline to new heights, musically and also live: the ideal element for their contagious and grandiose songs.
