STRYPER US

In the mid-80s, White, as in Christian, Metal, got its first major stars with Stryper from Los Angeles. Understandable, since this band's powerful riffs and epic choruses rivaled any one of their secular colleagues. Stryper also to this day release music of the same calibre. Albums like "The final battle" (2022) and "When we were kings" (2024) have the strength and catchiness to go up even against the classics "To Hell with the Devil" (1986) and "In God we trust" (1988). Main man Michael Sweet (also ex-Boston) is still a terrific singer too.
