When the "Guitar Hero" games ruled the world, their most talked-about song was "Through the fire and flames" by Dragonforce. Said single off the album "Inhuman rampage" (2005) is one of the greatest-ever classics of power metal, and a stellar representative of these Brits' style: lightning-fast songs, lightning-fast guitar solos. In their own words, "Extreme power metal" - also the title of their brilliant eighth album. In all Dragonforce have released nine studio albums since 2003, most recently the somewhat proggy "Warp speed warriors" (2024), and live, guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman obviously take center stage.
