Dorothee" Doro" Pesch remains forever "the heavy metal queen". From the 1984 release of the first of four albums by the legendary Warlock, to the 1989 release of her first of 19 (!) solo albums so far, she has been delivering classic heavy metal of the most anthemic kind. Which has made her a certified icon within the scene, and a source of inspiration to countless other female (and other) rockers. When Doro proclaims that she lives only for her music and fans, she means it literally, as anyone who ever attended one of her shows can confirm. Lovefest doesn't even begin to describe it.
