Did we mention that Swedish thrash metal is doing great? Sarcator being one of the prime examples. This quartet belongs to the subcategory "blackened thrash": brutality, dirt and mind-boggling rhythmic changes full time. Their two first albums "Sarcator" (2020) and "Alkahest" (2022), in addition to a suitably uncompromising live show, have made Sarcator a sensation within the headbanging underground. January 2025 marks the release of the much anticipated third album "Swarming angels & flies": arguably their most frenetic so far.
