OLD MAN'S CHILD NO

August 2024 saw guitarist Galder leaving Dimmu Borgir to focus on his own baby Old Man's Child. Kind of a blessing in disguise, since black metal fans have seen way too little of the latter project. Old Man's Child released seven albums between 1996 and 2009, becoming ever-more popular - their last album (thus far) "Slaves to the world" being a fave to many fans of epic black metal. So it's no small thing that Galder is finally making new music and even performs live with Old Man's Child - the latter thing a rare event back in the day. One of the most "cult" of all SRF-first timers in 2025, without a doubt.
