Sweden's answer to Tool? Nah, that might not be the whole truth, but admittedly Soen also play dark, progressive metal quite unlike anything else. The band has released six studio albums to date, from "Cognitive" (2012) to "Memorial" (2023), and are more and more becoming connoisseur faves among lovers of ominous, meticulous music. They are also formidable musicians - drumming legend Martin Lopez (Opeth, Amon Amarth) being the most famous example.
