Pain of Salvation
SEPain of Salvation certainly rank among the most innovative bands in Swedish music history. Led by Daniel Gildenlöw, they have released eleven studio albums since 1997, containing prog metal, traditional symphonic rock and basically everything else to boot. ”Ashes”, ”Linoleum” and ”Used” are just a few live favorites from a multi-faceted career – and Pain of Salvation’s concerts in particular are more like events, atmosphere and communication being quite as important as the music itself. In other words: it doesn’t get any more progressive than this.
