Orbit Culture from Eksjö is one of the fastest-rising stars in the melodic death metal scene. In particular, their third album, “Nija” (2020), and the subsequent “Descent” (2023) and “Death Above Life” (2025), have drawn a large international audience to their exceptionally well-composed music, which is also influenced by Gojira and Meshuggah. Opening for Slipknot at Madison Square Garden in New York is another of Orbit Culture’s achievements. The fact that audiences have been absolutely blown away by Orbit Culture’s previous Sweden Rock performances naturally makes this booking all the more exciting.
