Metal Church

US metal legends Metal Church have experienced both greatness and tragedy. Since their last Sweden Rock Appearance in 2017, singer Mike Howe has sadly passed away. But the Seattle quintet managed to move on. Metal Church today is actually a supergroup of sorts, with the likes of singer Brian Allen /ex-Vicious Rumors) and bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth) by guitarist and band leader Kurdt Vanderhoof’s side. Their new album ”Dead to rights” is also a worthy successor to classics like ”Metal Church” (1984) and ”Blessing in disguise” (1989). So it’s a Phoenix from the ashes we reunite with ten years later.
