Gaerea

Portugal’s Gaerea are a fascinating recent addition to extreme metal. A hybrid of alternative and black metal, brimming with thoughts on the frailty and misery of the human psyche. After five albums, most recently their fresh album ”Loss”, this masked outfit keeps gaining momentum – not least for their intensely atmospheric live performances, adding a new dimension to the likes of ”Hellbound”, ”Submerged” and ”Salve”. A highly interesting Sweden Rock Festival debut.
