Fu Manchu

No stoner rock devotee will have missed out on Fu Manchu – a groundbreaking act on par with Kyuss and Monster Magnet. Thirteen studio albums in, it was the sixth by these Californians, ”King of the road” in 2000, that made them forerunners of the swelling wave of stoner rock – and also made its title track a perennial fan fave. ”Evil eye”, ”Eatin’ dust” and ”Mongoose” are other such gems by Scott Hill & Co. This actually marks the first time for the Sweden Rock Festival crowd to experience Fu Manchu’s grooving, cardrive-praising live show. To make it even more special, the setlist will be focused on their 1997 album “The action is go”.
