Finntroll

One of the most legendary folk metal bands is from Finland, but have Swedish lyrics. Finntroll have steadfastly persisted with their own style, based on black metal and humppa (Finnish polka), on seven albums so far since 1999. ”Trollhammaren”, ”Nattfödd” and ”Solsagan” are just some of the perennial fan faves off these releases. The band’s live show is mighty famous as well, for the band’s wild antics wearing appropriate ”troll attire”. This all makes Finntroll’s return to Sweden Rock highly anticipated – especially since we’re pushing 11 (!) years since the last time.
